Finally, a nice day in N.E. Pa.!
Took my," Utility Bike", ( name for my bike) out to run some errands, test ride.
So far, K&N style air filter, with snorkel to breath easy,( least it SOUNDS kinda like a bike now)!
1 tooth smaller front sprocket, tightened up the gearing well.
Top speed was 59 mph,( although radar speed signs I run past says my Speedo is off by 3 mph, so 59 is really 56)??!!
Where I live, you either are going UP a hill or DOWN!
It was either close to red line, or about to bog down, depending on gear on these hills!!
Most hills 30-35 mph, which I can live with. Most of these roads speed limit us 35-45 mph.
I kept searching for another gear on flat ground, damn 4 speed!🤔
Over all, it ran like I thought, pulled hills OK.
One wonders what a performance exhaust will do for it??

Glad you were able to get out and enjoy a nice day's ride. The speedometer reads speed from the countershaft, so changing gearing via sprockets throws the speedometer reading off more than the regular discrepancy. 12oClockLabs and OPMID both sell speedometer "healer" type devices if you wanted to have your speedometer and odometer read correctly. The stock exhaust is certainly restrictive, but it's also quiet which can be nice depending on what you're looking for.

swap out the front sprocket with a 13 tooth and you will be very pleased with it's performance on the type roads you are describing.

Depending on how many miles you have already ridden it, you may notice an increase in power after a few hundred miles. My bike seemed to pick up 10 or 20% when I hit 300 miles.

I got a bit over the 300 mile mark.
I drop on the 13 tooth sprocket cuz I wasn't pleased with the gaps in gearing, the gearing gaps are much closer, the scoot and I are happy with that mod!!😁
I figured the K&N type air filter and snorkel, sprocket before I jump on the most expensive parts,( injector and exhaust.
One ride isn't really a good base to judge if I want to go farther.
The purpose of this scoot is to run @ town, up the hills to work.
This IS my first forty into smaller road bikes, since 1971,( Harley 125 SX, with that MASSIVE rear sprocket you slipped in place to race off road)!
I haven't seem or heard of anyone @ here with thus bike!
