Genuine accessories availability

Hey guys got my CT125 ordered and was wondering if the new accessories Honda released for this year model will be available in NA also? Have anybody heard about them?

I asked my dealer on Saturday about the accessories as I wanted to order some things. He figured that once they start delivering them, Honda will make available. Who knows 🫤

The "genuine" accessories have been region specific so far, with 0 in North America. You can still order them to wherever your heart desires if you're willing to pay shipping though.

I wasn’t aware that you could not order OEM accessories from Honda USA. I was thinking supply issue but then if you can order from Japan with no problem, maybe not. Strange

There have been different OEM accessories in different markets so far (Thailand, Japan). Keep in mind some of those accessories like the windshield are meant for the 2023+ model which has not yet been available in North America until the first one rolls out of a dealership in Canada sometime soon.

I want the side case and would be in for it but the dang bracket is almost triple the price of the case. That's a big nope.

What especially caught my interest is that the lock on the side case bracket has 6 different tumblers that can be configured to use the ignition & seat key. I'm a big fan of having things keyed alike, but I'm less interested after seeing the price.

When the Canadian 2023 model arrives it will be interesting to see if it has the electrical accessory connection with a dummy coupler on it inside the headlight. The Japanese regional model for 2021-2022 had it, while the USA model did not.

I see that there are now 10 accessories for the Trail 125 available from the Canadian Honda dealers. Besides the Windshield, Front Carrier, and Centre Carrier, you can get 7 more of the OEM accessories previously only available from Webike in Japan, including the rally steps, folding pedals, top case and more. Select Trail 125 from the leftmost pulldown menu and you will see all 10 accessories. I assume the price on the backrest is incorrect. The backrest is available at US Honda powersports dealers as an option for the Africa Twin. It is the same backrest and it is US $ 79.95. It is just a faux leather covered piece of foam with sticky tape on the back. Here is a video I made about the backrest some time ago:
