I'm on the Westside too, Murray Hill. The traffic over here is not too bad, but we have our fair share of terrible drivers. There's a ton of threads on the forum about the difficulty in getting one of these bikes. I hate to post the fact that, for me, it was actually quite easy. I seen it online over the weekend, called the dealership on Tuesday to confirm they still have it, drove over to check it out and bought it. You?

I wonder if they pushed out the remaining '21 models after the '22 model was announced. There did seem to be an uptick in availability based on a this and a couple other sites I follow.
If so, will there be another dry spell as they fall behind on demand for '22?

Also, we have yet another Florida rider. You all are in year-round comfort riding heaven!
Someday I'll live like the old song lyrics:
I'm going where the sun keeps shining
Thru' the pouring rain,
Going where the weather suits my clothes,
Backing off of the North East wind,
Sailing on summer breeze

And skipping over the ocean like a stone.

JT, did you get a 21 or 22 model?

It's a 2022 model. I rode it all over the Westside today, putting almost 30 miles on her. After that I decided she's going camping with us this week, so I drove over to Cycle Gear on Wells Road and picked up a ramp. Right now, she's loaded up with the rest of the gear in the back of the truck and ready for her 1st adventure. We're staying Oconee State Park, SC. First thing Monday morning after fishing, I'll hop on her and head about 2 miles west over to Moonshiner 28. From there, I'll head north up to Highlands, NC. Then, I'll head east over to Cashiers, NC. Then south back to the campsite. I've taken this trip a lot on my BMW R1200R. It's a beautiful ride ... most of it is in the Nantahala Forest. It's mostly uphill there and downhill back. I'll miss the power of the BMW but will enjoy it nevertheless. Take care Mister B.

The camping trip to Oconee, SC was great. I rode all over the place logging over 400 miles in 5 days. Most importantly, I hauled "Scooter" over to the Tail of the Dragon so he could be initiated into my family properly.
