I told a bit of a fib when I said my bike was stock when I did a 115 on it , I had these . I took some Kodak Browney shots of the parts.

considering with stock ecm/gearing/tire size at 67 mph the rev limiter kicks in, sure, it must have been the stem caps. Now, changing gearing and tire size throws all that out the window. and this was checking with a gps. at least with a US model.

they were also red valve caps , there the fastest of all the colours 🤣🤣
