Hi all,

Posted a couple weeks back here about an issue I'm having with my ignition. ABS light turns on and then flashes repeatedly, ignition seems to start up briefly and engine barely gets going before the entire thing shuts down.

I've seen some comments re: battery issues - haven't had the chance to test just yet but wanted to attach a video to see if anyone else had similar issues?

Interestingly, the kickstarter works just fine and that's how I get the bike on. Used that last weekend and rode for ~30 min or so, but issues still remained.

Yikes, it's possessed, better get rid of it. When it's running, what does your battery measure for voltage? Between 13.4 and 14.2 would be good. When not running is battery around 12.6 or so? Low voltage does funny things to the electrics.

That is cranking weakly. Looks to me like a low battery that is dropping voltage low enough when cranking that cluster/ECU is resetting.

I think somebody mentioned this in the other thread, but are you able to kick start it? If you aren't physically able to you could also try bump starting it.

NVM reading comprehension. I see it runs fine when kicked. Definitely check battery voltage while running, it should exceed 13v. Service manual here - https://hondatrail125.com/index.php...service-owners-parts-catalog.1189/#post-12391 - has more troubleshooting steps.
