Edit: I'm in the USA.
My apologies if this topic better belongs in the General Discussion section.
After struggling with either building/restoring another CT90 (original was stolen) or starting out with a new CT125, I've decided to go the CT 125 route!
The problem; I am in love with Matte Fresco Brown. I could live with Pearl Organic Green or possibly the new silver, but red is unfortunately a deal-breaker for me. That's okay, though, I like a project.
Now it's possible that we will get Matte Fresco Brown in the US for 2023, but I'm personally not holding my breath, and that still leaves the problem of long waiting lists, where as if I'm willing to drive an uncomfortable distance I would pick up a new/near-new Glowing Red variant in the US, I could get one is relatively short order.
Here are some options I can think of to make Matte Fresco Brown happen:
I've seen japan.webike.net, for example, but they still only seem to be able to get the Glowing Red variants of the plastics... (?) Looks like maybe you can get the brown plastics from here?
Any input appreciated! Thank you!

Here are some options I can think of to make Matte Fresco Brown happen:
- Paint the bike body and OEM plastics with aftermarket rattle-can Matte Fresco Brown [One source]. Possibly source OEM CT125 decals, or similar CT70/90/110 decals to place over the plastics. This would work but isn't ideal in my mind mostly because of painting over the plastic.
- Same as #1, but have a paint shop either mix Honda Y-215 paint (Matte Fresco Brown) or color match it. I don't know how this works -- can they just look up the formula or do they need a physical sample to color match to?
- A combination of #1 and #2, where the body paint is either rattle-can or high-quality two-stage poly -- but source the OEM brown plastics from a foreign market. I like this idea, if the plastics can be had. Can somebody who owns a 125 comment on whether the graphics are molded into the plastic, or if they are adhesive decals?
