So this should be interesting...What's everyone paying for insurance on our favorite Mini-Moto's?

I just added my Trail to my policy today, $124 for six months. Full-coverage, less then 1,000 miles a year. So.Cal. Perfect driving record, multi-policy discounts. Major US Insurance Company.

I will guess that those who live in not-California will be paying less then that but am just curious.

Some numbers from 2021 here: https://hondatrail125.com/index.php?threads/insurance-costs-for-trail125.418/

For Colorado mine was $210/year with Statefarm bundled with an auto and renter's insurance, including UM/UIM and comprehensive coverage. Moved it over to Progressive and got the following coverage for $121/year (comprehensive, no UM/UIM) on its own policy before adding other bikes to it for discounts.

Policy coverages:
Liability (Bodily Injury & Property Damage) $25,000 person/$50,000 accident/$15,000 property damage
Uninsured/ Underinsured Motorist Bodily Injury No coverage
Medical Payments No coverage
Enhanced Injury Protection No coverage
Safety Riding Apparel $500 (Included)
Transport Trailer No coverage
Vehicle Coverages for 2021 Honda Ct125a Trail 125
Totaled Vehicle Options Actual Cash Value
Comprehensive $500 deductible
Collision $500 deductible
Disappearing Deductibles Selected
Roadside Assistance No coverage
Carried Contents? No coverage
Accessory Coverage $3,000 (Included)

UM/UIM is required in some states but not in CO, it's something that can almost double your rate and if you do pay for it there are still hurdles to utilize it.
Clean driving record with no offenses and no at-fault accident claims. Some states age offenses off of the record over time 😅

I apologize, I didn't know there was already a thread on this topic.

I should have mentioned, State Farm is who I'm with as well. Similar coverage. Are you happy with Progressive? I've never used them before.

I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm happy with any of them, but they're easy to deal with and make changes. They have a website where you can request adjustments to your coverage, print your ID, view your statements, set up payments, and file a claim. That's the bare minimum I look for since I'm mostly paperless and prefer to handle insurance online rather than over the phone or in person. They also have an app but I haven't used that.
With insurance the burden is always on you to read what is covered, what is not covered, what the limits are, and to maintain documentation of the vehicle, its accessories if you have coverage for that, and your riding gear if you have coverage for that. "Safety Riding Apparel $500 (Included)" is valuable to me because that covers my helmet at the least. "Accessory Coverage $3,000 (Included)" is valuable to me because I have spent money on farkles for my CT125. On other bikes with more than $3k of accessories (exhaust, racks, suspension, and luggage can all get there quick) I make it a point to get the accessory coverage increased to cover the extra cost of the accessories because if a bike is totaled it sucks to have a coverage gap.

Good points. That's one of the things I dislike about State Farm is they still require a lot of interaction with your Agent in order to get things done. Such as earlier today when I wanted to add my Trail to my account, there was no way for me to do it on their website. Not a big deal, just more of an annoyance I guess. Their website feels 'clunky' too. Not as seamless as most are these days.

I have no coverage for Farlkes or Riding Gear. I'm not sure SF even offers such coverage's. I may need to look into that.
