You need the reduced head magnetic plug for the new engine.

Darn I ordered the regular…is there something in the way that does not allow the regular 17mm? They didn’t have 2023 on the web site. Of course up in Canada it’s a princely $40cdn so hope I can use the mp01

It's possible that the old plug will fit, but there's a split in the case and a casting piece very close to the drain plug...

I just did a fit check on my CT125. The standard MP-01 gold plug installed with No interference.

Just put the 17mm head Gold Plug into my '23 as well, no issues here.

I’m picking up a 2023 trail 125 in a few weeks… sounds like the mp-01t is the plug to order for me..

but some of you are succesfully able to use the mp-01 on 2023 bikes also?

Will the mp-01t fit the 2021 and 2022 bikes?
My father has a 2021 model, I was going to order a plug for each bike, his 2021 and my 2023.
