I've seen people with GPS's recommending also having a phone as a backup. The GPS sometimes gets a bit wonky with directions because the datasources used by the GPS's are different to, say, Google and Apple maps, and the phone can help you overcome those problems. Additionally, if you want to load routes on the fly, etc. not all GPS's support that.
You appear to have an iPhone case on the left bar - what do you use the phone for?
I saw the coiled cord and did wonder if it was part of your comms. I run my nav app on an iPhone and having tired of tapping the screen with a stylus I now use the Voice Control (Settings>Accessibility>Voice Control) to control it (and any other app on the phone) If your comms setup has a suitable B/T profile you can just instruct it to “zoom in”, “pan left” etc etc. From the the Voice Control sub menu I apply the “Item Numbers” overlay for granular control of all the apps various switches. Of course you can call up any app and make calls, change music etc etc without having to take your hands off the bar. It’s a great featureMusic and phone calls. My helmets are set up for comms.
That's pretty slick. The coiled cord you saw, is the lanyard for my airbag vest.I saw the coiled cord and did wonder if it was part of your comms. Here you can see the numbers overlay - you just announce the number of the ‘switch’ you want

8 days. June 18-25.how long is this ride?
I originally ordered the 3.00, but this is what showed up. It may actually be better for the slab. I'll let you know about the dirt performance. I'm going to try to get an all up test ride in the next couple weeks. I have another week long trip on the 1st.Tires look good. Looking forward to the report on them.
Let me know if you need anything when you are passing through Flagstaff, I’ve got a decent garage, the dealer is worthless. Gets hot out Winslow way and the desert before you climb up here….
The overland festival is up here this weekend, your bike would fit in just perfectly!
I did the same thing on my bicycle in a past life, took a little longer…
