Very pleased with my set from Treatland. Had them on for more than two months now and they transform the bike. I weigh 220 pounds ready to ride, so the stock shocks were never going to do it for me offroad anyway.

How adjustable are these for rebound and compression dampening? Even Ohlins HO029 shocks don't have Compression rebound i presume due to no Reservoir.

I have the Ohlins HO 029 shocks on my CT125. They have a typical internal reservoir. Preload can be adjusted by rotating the spring preload adjustment collar with the included pin tool. It doesn't require as much room to work with as a typical shock spanner wrench which is nice because the exhaust and the air snorkel partially obstruct access to the shocks when everything is together. Rebound can be adjusted by rotating a wheel above the bottom mount eyelet by hand. There is no compression adjustment.

If you're looking for a piggyback reservoir and compression adjustment, there's a Gears Racing Hill option with those features.

they aren't. for the money these sell for, you aren't going to find any that are that are worth a shit that claim to have those adjustments.. the height IS adjustable though, which is nice. preload is as well, but there is also a separate height adjustment. Im 210 and they suit me just fine. im currently running the YSS i have as well, but will probably swap back as they seem to be about the same performance wise. reality is, until the rubber bushing is swapped out for an actual bronze bushing or bearing in the swingarm pivot, its going to deflect the arm all over the place on any serious terrain or cornering.

So far, I'm happy with the rear shocks on Booger once I cranked the preload all the way up. I'm not saying they're perfect but when 2023 take-off rear shocks become available, it will be an economical option.

^^ Appreciate the replies and input. Just to be clear i wasn't ever expecting a $250 shock(s) to perform and adjust at a level Tobey Price or the other Aliens would be happy with. I am new to the Trail and new to this type of bike. There is the constant $300 mark for decent shocks and then it jumps to $600 and then even a $1000 from the link above. I am not the type rider that needs any of that to be honest. As any consumer i am looking for Bang for buck. While i can and would spend the $$ Unfortunately even if spent the $1000 for the Gears shocks who would even touch them or know where to get parts? Might be a good shock but if they can't be rebuild then why spend the $$.

Again, appreciate the replies, opinions and sharing your experience. I am now off to research the front end. ** The RacingBros Front Fork Anti Dive System looks like a nice system

The shocks from Treatland are not adjustable, except for length and preload. But for the over 200 pound club, I think they work great.

Digging up a thread here- Has anyone tested these in offroad situations? Or should these shocks be relegated to street use only?

I’ve used mine a ton off road including some dirt bike trails that I really have no business being on and they’ve been fantastic.

Just rode over 100 miles off-road in Big Bend National Park. Treatlands were great. But Trail 125s have short travel suspension, so don't expect miracles.

Awesome- Ordered some XR100 springs for the front, hoping to stiffen the rear a bit too but dont want to blow the shocks off road.

And Treats is even running 12% off now. Wahoo!

a heads up for anyone on the fence with these- the chrome was discontinued, not sure if the black is next.
