Picked up my bike last Friday

Good morning,
I picked up my Honda Trail Last Friday from my dealer in Tallahassee, FL. Drove three hours there and three hours back. Bike was on a hitch carrier and traffic was really bad on Interstate 10. Once home I rode the bike until dark around the neighborhood. I am not new to bikes but not having a clutch made for some funny moments. The bike has more power in first gear than I thought it would. Rode the bike again on Saturday for about twenty miles. What a fun bike. Have not changed a thing on it yet. I am 6`2 and 220 pounds. Not issues with the personal fit to the bike. Maybe once I go on longer rides something will bug me. We will see. I am extremely happy with the way it came setup from the dealer.
Now, I do have a question; I only received one ignition key with the bike. Is this normal? If so, how do I order another one? Directly from Honda with my VIN number?

Thank you all,

Congrats on the new bike! My CT125 came with two keys that both work the ignition and seat lock, the spare came with a kind of shrink wrap sleeve on the blade to protect it from damage while being stored, and a key tag with 4 characters on it for the cut of the key. You may want to call the dealership and ask them to send you the spare key that you didn't receive, and if they don't have it ask them to have one made. They should have a record of the key code.

I only got one. No code. I posted this question under title "Keys". I will call dealer on Tuesday.

Congrats! Welcome!! What a gorgeous looking bike, wish I had one that looked like- oh wait!! I DO!!

I'm slightly shorter and slightly heavier than you, and I found my butt occasionally bumping up against the cross rail. Did you find that as well? I shuffle forward to compensate but I think it's more likely that either a pool noodle or a different seat will be applied as a more permanent remedy. Gotta find the right color pool noodle first.

My girlfriend knew she would see me that evening when I got my bike delivered in the morning. It really does have a very low first gear encouraging smooth throttle operation doesn't it :D.

Looks awesome with your red truck! Which hitch carrier is that? I bought one from Harbor Freight but got cold feet and rented a Uhaul trailer to get it from Houston to Austin :ROFLMAO:. This morning I ordered a mototote to use for camping.

Discountramps.com. I had no issue with it. They are however made in China.I used extra straps on each end going into my truck bed. I feel it help the ramp from swaying.

Got 2 keys with mine but no owners manual. Found out it comes in a crate mostly put together but the dealer pulled out the owners manual and left it on the bench. I'm sure there is a second key at the dealership somewhere. Some mechanic probably picked it up and placed it somewhere in the shop where they put it together.

I received the second key after I contacted the dealer. Salesman had it in his pocket.
You can download the owners manual here on the forum. The one that comes with the bike is way to small for me to read anyway so I downloaded it and printed on normal size paper.

I got two keys and a comprehensive tool kit consisting of a wire thingy, plastic fuse puller and a two way, teeny, tiny plastic screwdriver. Haha.
