Ratchet strap placement

Just picked up my 23 ct125 I was wondering where people have had success tying down the bike. Like strongest point on different areas of the bike. I’m trying to find the easiest way to ratchet strap to a hitch carrier by myself. Thanks in advance!!

For the front of the bike you can loop around the handlebar low down on each side of the top clamp, and for the rear the carrier rack provides quite a few options for rigging.

I looped soft straps around the bars for front corners and strapped from those to the carrier. Then soft straps thru gaps on the rear rack to get both rear corners. I put carabiners on each of my tie down straps so that any bouncing around can't cause them to come free.
The right rear soft strap went thru one of the rear most rack slots so that the strap didn't come close to the exhaust, any rubbing on it would've caused some kind of damage.
Small ratchet strap around each wheel and carrier to keep things locked down there. Bounced along the backroads quite happily to get it home.

Edited to add pic. I cannot put words to the extra peace of mind the carabiners give me after a near miss I had years back that could've been very pricey. I'd recommend anyone hauling shit do it.
