I love them. They’ve got the look and performance both on and off-road has been pretty good which is surprising for Chicom rubber. Just did a 100+ mile rally on forest roads a few weeks back and the control and handling in the gravel and dirt was much more confidence inspiring than when it was on the stock skinny slicks. I did the front fender re-drill/lift mod for clearance and I haven’t had any rubbing.

It's the other other bike that's causing a stir, the XR150L! Ordered some parts today.

So how fast will the 150 run on a good 2 lane road? Unless its downhill, I have a hard time hitting a true 50 with the HT125. I'd rather run it at 40 on 40mph roads but sometimes you need to run down a stretch of 55mph speed limit road with some folks running up from behind doing 65-70.

The dealership said they'd gotten it to 62 mph without much trouble (XR150L). And the dude that told me that was pretty fat. He also seemed pretty excited that I was asking about it since it was still available. CT125, true 48 mph is about my consistent limit on flat ground with the SR244 tires fitted, slightly faster with the OEM tires fitted. My least favorite part of driving in the USA is how much everyone goes over the speed limit, massive penalties discouraged such behavior in my hometown and frankly it was a lot calmer driving experience. I saw Honda Monkeys on the freeway there because 100 km/h speed limit was 100 km/h.
