Some discussion on that here:

At home I use a DeWalt 20v Cordless Tire Inflator, it uses a battery that I already have handy and charged for other cordless power tools, and it can easily be carried over to the bike. Many of the powertool brands have their own version of this that uses their battery in case you're already bought into a brand.

On the road I use a DynaPlug Micro Inflator (have been using one for 5+ years) that runs off the SAE pigtail I added to the battery on my CT125. DynaPlug's claim of a "zero-loss inflation valve stem connector" depends on the valve stem. MotoPumps also have a really nice portable 12v unit with a better air chuck on it, but the DynaPlug has a pass-thru where you can monitor the pressure while inflating.

The size and portability of the small battery powered units appeals to me, but I shy away from them because it's one more rechargable battery to care for and it's an integrated one.

I have one similar to the Amazon one , but only when I think I'll be on a loooong ride. I've used it on a trip and it works great tbh. at home I have a compressor

For my road kit I just have a Topeak Mountain Morph Mini hand pump. It’s like 10 years inches long and very light. I just don’t trust the little mini powered compressors - I’ve had them fail multiple times over the years.

Wow, there sure are a lot of choices.
The ToPeak Twin Turbo looks good, it's supposed to perform well on high volume tires Fat Bike/EV bikes.
Thanks for all of the info !!

This is my backup, but whatever you buy make sure you end up with a pump that does Shrader inflation (the Morph pumps support both by flipping a bit in the inflator head). Most of the CO2 inflators, etc. are geared towards presta valves.

I'm using a Stop and Go inflator and I wanted to respond very quickly because of some specific feedback on this specific pump: the plastic portion of the pump can spin, resulting in it being impossible to remove the hose from the valve. If you cut the plastic off and use only the metal barrel, then my satisfaction is 5 stars with this pump.

When I'm at home though, I use my Topeak Joe Blow pump designed for bicycles - works really well.

EDIT: big fan of Topeak btw. The Joe Blow pump I have has been in use for 15y of daily to weekly use. The Minimorph is possible to completely disassemble and the biggest complaint I have is the pin holding the fold out foot peg is not impervious to rust - but could be replaced easily.

like anything, the rechargeable ones can be good, but the cheapest option on amazon are probably going to be garbage. I think i paid like 65 bucks for mine like 4 ? 5? years ago, never had it fail. truth is, i usually use it on other peoples bikes. hard to go wrong with a hand pump though.

Those that tie into the powered port dongle that you use for your battery tender and heated gear are fantastic. The MotoPumps is considered the absolute best by the ADV/Enduro crowd, not a single thing from Amazon will touch its reliability, durability or overall compact size. Topeak makes great stuff but they are largely focused on the bicycle market.

I bought my Trail to explore/scout/hunt on , I won't be riding fast blasting over rocks/roots/etc. . I don't plan on having many flats .
The MotoPumps do have great reviews and a happy customer base.

You get flats at all speeds, pick up nails and twigs that punch through sidewalls in the weirdest places not to mention pinch flats. Lots of options out there, I am just suggesting the best one.

Ryobi cordless dual inflator.

I have a lot of other Ryobi tools so I always have a battery charged and I keep one of these in my car at almost all times. Easy to use, extremely convenient, and very reliable.
