Are there any bolt on mods for power that work? It seems a BBK, pipe, injector, cam, efie, and intake if done right can provide good reliable power. Has anyone found that just an injector, cam, or other reasonable mods make an actual difference? The computer has been mentioned but the plugs on the CT don't seem to be compatible and there is a high dollar version I'm not sure I have read any results about.

I did put a 13t on the front, I personally could take it or leave it, a little more off the line maybe but I didn't think it was a game changer.

Thanks for any info!

"It seems a BBK, pipe, injector, cam, efie, and intake if done right can provide good reliable power." thats it, and all are technically bolt ons, as they are all reversible. ..02

Ethanol-free gas doesn't create more power. You just get better mileage, at least in a car. Cars have more sophisticated EFI. Not sure if that is applicable to bikes. Someone probably dyno'ed ethanol and non-ethanol gas in the same bike to get real numbers but I'm too lazy right now to look.

When I lived in Iowa, I got ethanol-free gas all the time. I didn't notice any power difference but mileage was better. Makes total sense for you to be able to get it in one of the states most of the corn for ethanol is grown in, right? You can de-ethanol your gas but it is a hassle.

I'd say the best way to get more power on the bike is to lose weight.

Higher compression is the easiest way to get more actual HP. even on a stock 125 (yes they sell hi compression 125cc pistons). But for the amount of work involved, a big bore kit is the most feasible. Yes, ive done both on this bike. then you can justify premium fuel. lol.
