Going back to this, someone from Thailand posted their dyno'd gains on a CT125 (JA65) that they tuned. Just shy of 2 wheel horsepower difference after the ECM flash. Keep in mind they're in Thailand so likely starting with a stock ECM for the Thai market, which is a different part number than the USA market one and could have a different tune on it making for a different baseline.Has anyone even done a reflash/replacement of the ECM? It would be nice to get a bit more oomph out of the bike........
Oh my does that bring back memories... Ran back and two from Florida to Redondo Beach, CA numerous times, though not on a donkey.... lets just say back in the 80's Honda sold bikes that could make the run with just a few stops for fuel/restroom/food. I got pulled over once, got clocked at 118... cop said what the hell... I told him I fly for US Military... so it's not a problem. He wrote me a ticket anyway! Looks like nothing much has changed on that road in 40 years. Although my need for speed has long since waned.Yep, you've just got to avoid seeing those dang signs in California!

Don't disagree, but for the record it was a headwind. What does the rulebook say about wind inhibited downhill GPS speeds? It clearly states in the CT 125 forum code book, section 12, paragraph 4.6. Wind assisted, downhill speeds do not count in "Top Speed" criteria. Only flat surface, no wind from any direction, are considered for Top Speed! And the speed must be GPS speeds, not the factory speedometer which is very user friendly in it's speed readouts. Just sayin!
Is says to "have fun with your top speed attempt, try a steeper hill if necessary to achieve the maximum such as a ski jump maybe, you may also qualify for maximum height in a jump attempt!"What does the rulebook say about wind inhibited downhill GPS speeds?
