Hello all, from Woodstock, GA. I saw the green Trail 125 in Japan and I thought I'd like to own one. I picked up a 2023 Trail 125 today at Mountain Motorsports (with a minor discount, which surprised me). I'm anxious to accessorize it and make it my own. I would like to have a front rack like the CT models have.
Discount....discount, what is this fabled concept you speak of?

Congratulations.. you made a good choice. There is an OEM accessory front rack that you should be able to order from the parts counter at Mountain Motorsports, with free shipping. That is your best choice for low price and best quality, but the front rack is pretty small. You can also order many different front racks from Thailand. The leading brands there are H2C, Kitaco,, and Gcraft, but there are many more brands to choose from. The part number for the EOM front rack that you should be able to get at Mountain Motorsports is 08L79-K2E-J10. As I said though, it is pretty small and is mainly the mounting piece for the OEM Windshield. If all you want is a larger front rack and don't plan on mounting the OEM windshield, then I'd recommend getting the H2C front rack from beezedeals.com. If you'd like to see more about the OEM front rack, please subscribe to my YouTube channel, and then search the channel for OEM. See:

I just received a call from Mary at Honda of Melbourne in Melbourne, Florida. They just received three more 2023 Trail 125s in today, and I guess nobody has dibs on them yet. If you'd like one, please give Honda of Melbourne a call at 321-345-4256 and ask for Mary.

Welcome! You may want to check the oil level on your new CT as there have been multiple reports of 2023 models being delivered with less oil than the minimum level on the dipstick.

My 23 I picked up on Wednesday had the oil level right at the bottom of the range. I brought it up, and am going through the bike now, it feels like the steering bearings need to be tightened as well.

If anyone is looking there are a bunch at dealers in MA NH and ME. I sent emails out Wednesday morning and had 5 dealers get back that they had one available on the floor. I ended up buying the one at the closest dealer from the same person I bought my Grom from.

I had reached out to several dealers months ago and they wouldn't entertain taking deposits on 2023s but they are taking them now. I'm 2nd on the list at a 'local' powerhouse dealer. I would be 5th at another dealer I had contacted today.
There are a lot for sale in Fl

Florida is a bit of a distance for those of us in California. Seems they are more accessible now everywhere. I'm happy to see that.
I wonder if Honda sends batches of Trail's to different parts of the country at different times? Since the South East seems to have a glut of them right now, maybe the South West will be next?

I wonder the same thing. I assume that the Trail 125s coming to Florida come in through a west coast container port, but maybe they do not. Both Jacksonville and Miami are large ports but I don't know if they are involved. In Florida, we have been getting a new wave of Trail 125s coming to dealers almost every month, or at least every other month. What is most surprising to me is that the Canadians still haven't received a second batch. The Canadian dealers who were telling their customers "No more this year" may end up being right, although there is still 6 months or so to go in the delivery year.

Seems like they are catching up in the US pretty quickly to demand versus 2021 and 2022. Nice to see that they'll have more bikes for people and make more money, should better guarantee that a 2024 model will happen.

3 sitting at Snow's Honda of Pittsburgh Pa. That's the most I've seen available. Usually they are gone as soon as they hit a dealer's website.

Just bought a ‘22 from a dealer in Kodiak AK. They had three ‘22s on the floor this summer and two sold including mine. They had no idea when to expect any 2023s.
