DOT-1045, which is the registration number for Sumitomo Bakelite Co. Purchased from Webike this past summer. Don't see any reason why they can't sell in the US.

mmmmmmm, well count on the LEO's not being hip to that information. After all the CT's look harmless, All American, apple pie and all.

I understand the green is rare (here in the States), but I just think it’s purdy! And I have 2 Ducs, both red, so happy to break the trend and add variety to my garage.

Law enforcement wouldn’t give it a second look. The only time it matters is during annual safety inspection (where applicable). Since it has a DOT number, you are covered.

FWIW, the last time I had an inspection, the inspector didn’t even notice it.

And it gets worse! I went 853 on it. The best bike Ducati never made. It was my original giggle generator! And when I got my green Trail 125, I found THE original giggle generator! (For reference, I do call the 853 the “Naughty Librarian”. ) 😈

New here with a 2024 Trail. Curious if the supply has caught up with the demand for the 125 Trail, or did I just get lucky with mine. Initially I was looking to buy a Yamaha TW200 but had no luck finding one here. Then after watching a lot of Utube reviews I decided that the Honda Trail might be more suited for what I actually want out of a bike these days. I called the nearest powersports dealer and they had one left out of the 4 they got in. This is in Juneau Alaska. Anyway, I just picked it up yesterday on the ferry and am loving the bike. What a joy to jump on and ride anywhere with..

I don't know that there's good data on that yet, but it seems like Yellow 2024 models are much more readily available than prior years have been. Someone on Facebook had posted that they have two his-and-hers Yellow CT125s purchased at different times in the USA and that the sequential numbers from the VINs are just over 2,000 apart.

To give that some perspective, Honda's sales plan for the 2024 model in Japan is 11,000 units.

What a difference a couple years makes. Here I was thinking I got extremely lucky to have just picked up the phone to the nearest dealer and had one with no wait time!

Honda announced new OEM touring accessories for the Grom in Japan, including a windshield.

The mounting bracket is of course model specific, but looking at the measurements of the windshield it seems likely to be the same polycarbonate part as what's sold for the CT125.
Will be curious to see if the new Grom windshield makes it to the US market. Right now American Honda only have a motard/beak/angry-bird type front fender and graphics kits available for the latest Grom, so it's slim pickings in terms of OEM accessories even for the most popular of the USA market mini motos.
American Honda did announce the Grom's new "meter visor" accessory will be coming to the USA. Meter visor is the term applied to the Japanese market item that one might otherwise describe as a windscreen or windshield. This doesn't confirm anything for the CT125, but if I were betting on the OEM CT125 windscreen being announced for the USA market as a 2025 update, this increases the odds in its favor.

I was underwhelmed by the Grom announcement when I got the email this morning. Of course, the Grom was just fine the way it was.

I missed that part of the announcement
