So I went through and I decided I wanted to upgrade the cargo carrying of my trail. The red rocket is my commuter. It gets ridden about ten miles a day. One of the boxes now has wet weather gear. The other box is the one that I hold my half Helmet, My gloves, And while i'm commuting tour from work my lunchbox. The top box is basically tools and roadside assistant stuff. A keen eye will notice a collapsing crate also attached. A splash of orange tape for visibility and tada!signal-2023-10-07-12-20-20-196.jpgsignal-2023-10-07-12-20-04-581.jpgsignal-2023-10-07-12-19-52-445.jpg

On the left side, I have the box fixed with straps that can be used as a hinge to flip the box up and gain access to the aux fuel tank... Yes I am one of those overly prepared types. The box has a cushion between it and the tank, And the box is hanging utilizing 5000 pound. Aircraft tightown straps. Because I had one that I could cut up. I am very pleased with my work.

I dig it. Makes me think of the "Caribou Cases" for motorcycles using Pelican cases, just with more reasonably priced Apache ones. Would be interested to see more detail of how they're hung.
