Right now I have two bikes in the garage:

2015 Triumph Tiger Explorer
2018 Triumph Street Triple R

The Trail 125 is on order.

I can't see adding any more without moving something out. I have my bases well covered. I had a KLX a number of years back, and I'm hoping the Trail 125 fills in the mild dirt duties to my long distance, and short distance line up.

I had a red/white z50 as a teen. Not sure what year but it must have been a late 70's.
I did all my own work on it because we were poor and the closest dealer was very far away.
I changed the rings and when it ran I thought I was a god. I remember putting 25cents of gas in the tank and running all day.
I don't remember what happen to that bike, but I wish I still had it.

Later I had a Blue CB360, but it wasn't reliable as it was about 20 years old and the carb kept leaking fuel.
So I sold it.

Now I have a deposit on a Trail 125 and I can't wait to get it.

I have 3 bikes now. I used to have as many as 8-9 at a crack.

Honda CB300R for in town.
CSC RX4. BMW GS copy for touring.
Honda CT125 for dirt.

My Dad used to have a CT90. Some of his friends had them too, they would always be tearing around the neighborhood. Nostalgia, is part of the reason I got the CT. The other part, is I like to ride dirt. I'm just not very good at it. I don't want to race the Baja 1000. I just want to pooter around to scenic spots, and maybe do a little drone flying video making.

I think one needs three bikes. A city bike, A touring bike, and a dirt bike.

I no longer have it, but last winters project was to turn this Yamaha 650, (that I literally drug out of a junk pile) in to this little bobber. It was a fun way to pass the cold month's.001.JPG93.JPG

Dominick the Donkey shares the garage with a pair of BMW’s: a 2017 R1200GS and a 2016 S1000XR.

Those bikes share one set of hard luggage (bikes are the same color) and a gps. I find I like to tour a lot more than day ride as I live in the city. These bikes give me a comfortable (enough) bike for either adventure or sport touring. Both are acceptable two up. I can do a BDR on the GS and a track day on the XR.

The Trail gives me a townie that I can easily take to the store or use to play around the urban/industrial areas by me. It’s also light and easy to tote to remote destinations and the perfect compliment to use when riding with my wife on her SuperCub. I sold a really nice XT250 for the Trail.

While I’m a perennial bike/car/truck swapper outer, the Trail seems like it will be around for a long while...

Here’s my bikes in a few pictures. Got the ‘81CT110 from a friend but traded it back to him. My son next to the Talon. The dragonfly/bike is by Vladimir Kush.

It's a 76. My first car in HS was a 74. Loved that thing. Rust loved it more. Hard to be a year 'round car in New England back in the early 80's. Here's a few pics of the '76 after new paint.

This is my CSC RX4 Chinese GS copy. It’s a 450 and it’s turning out to be a very nice machine. This was on the day I picked it up in California, and rode back to Las Vegas. I had the RX3, 250 for a time. That was a good bike too, and why I had no problem getting this one. I’ve had around 30 motorcycles so far. AA9116F0-932E-4A42-91F6-FA96A59EA7FF.jpeg

ZS is actually a licensed producer of honda motor clones. Not bad stuff at all, power-train wise for sure. Very interesting indeed.
