I kind of thought it would come with the sticker, thanks for the update. I ordered one for the right side, and it had the sticker on it as well.Received my order yesterday, it DID come with the sticker already attached. So I have a spare now, I'll probably see if I can get a can of the organic pearl green and clean up the damaged part, apply the decal and have a spare. (ed.)
Another of those delightful yet puzzling bits of Aussie prose - do you know anything of it’s etymology?…. and you should be golden.
hahaha... I don't think there's anything particularly Australian about it. Australia has a pretty rich history with gold (see the Welcome Stranger et al) so it might have come from that, being golden was about as good as it could be. "Right as rain" is more of a British etymology which would also have applied and would be reasonable to have said in the same context.Another of those delightful yet puzzling bits of Aussie prose - do you know anything of it’s etymology?
There's also a silver ratio, which does involve goeyness: it's used to make the perfect taffy machines. And of course Golden Section in architecture and design refers to the visually perfect proportions of 13:8 as espoused by Leonardo da Vinci et al - but I can’t see your average cobber going gooey over the Mona Lisa’s torso measurements …
Not to be confused with Golden Boy the musicalNot to be confused with Golden Boy the anime. Two VERY different things.
Well now, who knew a 125 would fit down a rabbit hole …There's also a silver ratio, which does involve goeyness: it's used to make the perfect taffy machines.
There's a stretch of roadway here in California which, when driven at the correct speed, 'plays' through the tires the "William Tell Overture". I've not tried riding it on my other bike which has Golden Boy tires over it, but now I'm curious what they would play if I rode it thereNot to be confused with Golden Boy the musical
