The red plug with a dust cap on your JA55 is a 4-pin data link connector (DLC) used for interfacing with the ECM. On the newer JA65s it has been replaced with a 6-pin connector to meet new standards, but I believe it still only has 4 wires going to it.

I am using that plug for switched power to run my Garmin.

This is the one I am using on a JA55:

You can also search online for "Honda motorcycle 4P OBD2 connector" and splice one of those up.
Here is the 4P male plug for a JA55.
