Tire PSI - what are you running?

I run what the book says, since I'm still on stock tires: 25psi front 33psi rear. I check once a month and feel/look how solid they are before every trip. Over-pressurizing leads to premature wear and potential tube failure, after all.

    Best non-BBK power mods?

I was thinking of getting a more free-flowing exhaust with the SP TAKEGAWA SPORTS stock-like exhaust, but unsure if I should get the PCX150 injector or not. Any input would be helpful, I'm not really experienced in this kind of stuff. The bike will keep its stock head, cam, and TB for the...

    Best non-BBK power mods?

I wonder how the PCX150 functions when it is with the caty still installed, has anyone tested it?

Making the best out of being a dumb-dumb

I used some high-temp flat black paint that the NAPA store I work for had, it's called VHT "Flameproof" paint: https://www.vhtpaint.com/high-heat/vht-flameproof-coating. It was on-hand and cheap (job benefits, hehe) so I went with it. I also have experience putting paint on as I used to work for...

    Zeta wind-screen

I have the Large version of the Zeta screen, and I quite like it! However, is is still too short even for my 5'9" stature to direct the wind over me, but does great for body blocking the wind and keeping spring bugs that have come out so far off my helmet visor. Currently trying out a clip-on...

Making the best out of being a dumb-dumb

I wasn't on the bike when it happened, I was putting my old man's vehicle back in the garage when the kickstand on the slope of the concrete slab in front of the garage caused the almost standing straight-up bike to start creeping forward while it was running. It then fell over. All because I...

Making the best out of being a dumb-dumb

So on monday, I dropped my bike on the right side, on rough concrete. Bending the exhaust heat shield towards the back and bending the right side pedal where the hole for the rubber pad's bolt goes through. In lieu of this i (lazily) bent the exhaust guard out a little and took a scotch pad to...

Suggest a forum where members just can post pics of their Trail 125

Currently waiting out the snow that fell this week, and all the road salt that came with it to wash away... So I decided to rotate the top box 180° and made it more rigid in the process, just need a good way of keeping the mat on the sides of the box from flapping around without it looking too...

    Spark Arrester

wait, so carbon buildup in an engine just doesn't happen anymore since fuel injectors were invented? Cus that's what I am getting from that. What I am saying it that the natural carbon buildup inside any engine can flake off and is often very, very hot and start smouldering if not caught and/or...

    Spark Arrester

Generally the reason for the spark arrestor nowadays isn't because of sparks from bad fuel anymore, but rather heated carbon buildup inside the exhaust pipe breaking off and breaking those deposits up as they fly through the spark arrestor. Even if you don't ride in a forest, or even outside the...

My Opinion on the 2023 stock sprocket setup... Or maybe why I was too hasty on buying the 13T sprocket.

Yeah I too like to not having WOT when running this bike. 35-42mph (on the spedo) is the optimal range in 4th when riding on roads. If people want to pass I try to accommodate as much as possible!

My Opinion on the 2023 stock sprocket setup... Or maybe why I was too hasty on buying the 13T sprocket.

DISCLAIMER: This is in no way a definite say-all. There are probably many factors that probably affected my experience. Hey all, I thought I'd share my experience with the using a 14T-38T and 13T-38T setups, and why I may have been a bit too rash in changing it over to the 13T-38T setup. So...

    This is my ,"Red Rider"!

I do love my 13T sprocket on my bike, but I think I'm gonna try the 14T sprocket again to see how it fares now that the engine is more-or-less broken in at 1100 miles. Gotta keep experimenting!
