So for the OP...I also have enjoyed your videos! Oddly, I have had zero stability issues at speeds up to 65 tucked and not.
I do have a sizable windshield and I do weigh more than you. Knowing your engineering background and attention to detail, I would assume that you have checked tire pressures and made sure the rear wheel is aligned in the swing arm properly. The only thing that made my CT squirely was using a Shinko 241 rear tire on roads with rain groves. Then it was almost like riding on sand. Once I got used to relaxing and not trying to fight it. I got over the fear. So I was also wondering, if when using the 15th tooth sprocket, are you approaching redline in 4th gear? If not I wonder if perhaps adding a tooth or two to the rear might actually squeeze a little more top-speed out of it. Also, Iʻve been using the so-called Thai Cam with the reasoning that you want a cam designed to maximize the power curve up to the CTʻs actual redline versus using cams designed for the Grom which have a higher rev limiter.
Finally, I am getting top speeds similar to yours with a 125 high-compression finbro piston, DHM cylinder, and finbro head, thai cam, bigger intake, efie, and the same exhaust. But I can see that your set-up looks like it accelerates considerably faster than mine which suffers from the predictable big-valve/cam low-end power delivery. Iʻm using 13-39 gearing which cuts out at around 63 mph which I think is pretty accurate (But I will confirm with GPS on the way home) so Iʻm going back to the 14 to see if I can get a couple more MPH. The 164 is on order and the manual clutch coversion! Wahoo! Thanks again! Iʻm surprised you needed such a large injector. The 150 was running too rich for me and the 140 seems like the best fit. All of this is in Hawai'i at sea level. The oil cooler is a must here. The first piston broke down bad without it.
