Does anyone make a cover for the horn button for the ct or know one from another bike I could modify? I'm sick of setting off the horn on accident offroad.

Who knew this would be important? My other 3 bikes (Yamahas) have the signal switch/horn button in reverse orientation to this Honda, so naturally, I mess it up when switching bikes. I would be willing to install this slick horn button cover on the CT125. Too bad, in this case, I'm a non-Facebooker. Hopefully I can access this part another way.

When riding a motorcycle, your limbs are very busy, in order to effectively utilize all the leisure organs of the body.
Is it possible to develop a Bluetooth control button, put it in your mouth, bite the button and the horn will sound. The harder you bite, the louder the sound will be, so that drivers around you can understand the anger of road rage patients.

They haven't released the 3d printing files for the cover yet anyway. When they get released I can always forward them if you want

There are aftermarket left grip switch controls available where the horn button is moved, they can just look a little out of place on the bike.

Specifically TWR / Twin Trade, a parts wholesaler, sell part no. BP-B0258 which claims to be plug-and-play (but also mentions drilling a new alignment peg hole in the handlebar) on the CT125, Dax, and other Honda mini motos.

I have not. I bought the Kitaco left switch assembly setup with flasher relay for hazards but have not yet installed it. The stock horn button location is rarely an issue for me anymore, I just desire to have 4 way flashers for safety.

There are a few members of the Facebook group linked earlier in this thread who are running the TWR switch. It is mentioned in the comments of that 3D printed horn button cover post. It looks functional but out of place to me personally. The switch assemblies stay in place by using an alignment peg that fits into a hole drilled in the handlebars. Same as the Kitaco kit I bought, the TWR instructions show drilling a new hole in the handlebars for that. Easy enough to do if they provide a location template.

@dmonkey : I was eyeballing that same switch assembly from Webike, it is on sale right now for $115 USD. It would be cool to have a "hazards" button especially on the rolling road block donkey. I have previously owned only one street legal motorcycle w/4 way flashers & I used them a lot on that unreliable pos. Like some on here & elsewhere the bassackwards horn/turn location drives me nuts. The TWR switch kills two birds w/one stone & at a better price. It does look a little funky but if it does what it says I could live w/it.
Does your Kitaco switch look exactly as the picture with the plug & what appears to be a flasher unit as part of the harness assembly? The TWR only shows the plug so I am leery of it not functioning as promised.

Yes, I have seen that some highways even have regulations and signs requiring vehicles to turn on 4 way flashers when the speed is below 70KM/H. But CT125 does not have this function. ( Canada )

The Kitaco switch assembly looks just like what's pictured on their website. It does include a new flasher relay to replace the OEM turn signal flasher relay that is under the rear carrier. This install video demonstrates that process:

BeezDeals sell a similar switch assembly that does not include or require a replacement flasher relay and operates all 4 turn signals just plugged in to replace the stock switch assembly. I bought that one at first under the impression that it used the stock alignment peg location based on the description. That was misleading. I emailed Anton at BeezDeals about it and he confirmed it requires drilling the handlebars on the CT125 and that the Kitaco drill patern works for it (he tested on Monkey handlebars and sent me a photo) but the BeezDeals item description has still not been updated. Not a big deal to drill a ~5mm hole in the handlebars with the template, I just think they could have done a better job by mentioning that it requires dilling and including a template like Kitaco did.

It only takes a minute to get at the switch assembly plug so I did personally plug the BeezDeals one in and confirmed the hazards (all 4 turn signals) flash without needing to replace the turn signal flasher relay. It's possible the TWR one works just the same. The Kitaco switch assembly has slightly better build quality than the BeezDeals one in my opinion. Very nitpicky, but that's why I decided on the Kitaco one when there are multiple options. Once I get it mounted I'll see how it actually is for riding and parking. I don't like the OEM turn signal switch from a tactile perspective, it feels clunky in that if I press down on it slightly off-center to try canceling the turn signals it won't. Hoping that might also be improved.

For hazards you could also DIY. I just liked the idea of one that looked like it could have come from the factory with it.

Ok, so I'm a bit confused. What is the actual issue? Looks like the horn button is about in the same place as it is on other bikes?

I pick up my new bike this weekend (hopefully) and want to be ready in case I'm doomed to accidentally blast someone right off the road with the ripper horn on these things :ninja:

On the Honda CT125 the turn signal switch is below the horn, while on many other bikes the horn button is instead below the turn signal switch, and sometimes farther to the left. So for some people there is an issue of muscle memory, they go for the turn signal and hit the very large horn button instead.

Its mostly an offroading problem, on the street its fine. It's just annoyingly easy to hit when your pushing the bike out from getting stuck. Say what you will about my riding but if I had a nickle for every time I've been pinned under the handlebars with the horn jammed on I'd probably have a couple bucks.
