Hello everyone!

We now have a Canada regional forum for Honda CT125 enthusiasts! This forum is a great place for riders in Canada to connect with each other, share their experiences, and learn more about this incredible little bike.

Whether you're an experienced rider or just starting out, let's welcome everyone to join our community and share your passion for the Honda CT125. Let's make this place a resource to find information about riding routes, local events, Canada specific maintenance tips, mods, and more.

To get things started, I invite everyone to introduce themselves in this thread. Tell us a bit about yourself, where you're from, and your experience with the Honda CT125.

I'll start:

2023 CT125 on order in Hamilton, Ontario. Just spoke with the dealer and expected delivery in April/May of this year.

Cheers!

Thanks for getting this added. Nice to have something for local meet ups and ride reports.

I live in the interior of British Columbia. I typically ride on the road February to early November. I enjoy all things outdoor including camping and hunting, fishing is next on my hobby list. Trails are 20 min from the house but being honest I prefer the ATV for the trails. Maybe the Honda Trail will change that experience for me.

I have been riding motorcycles on the road for around 30 years. Honda C90 being my first bike. I was the first person to order at my local dealership. They called a couple of weeks ago to say that the rep confirmed they were getting 2 and I will be one of them. Delivery was confirmed for May. I see some have been told April delivery so here’s hoping.

I’m very excited about this new toy.

Hello from SW New Brunswick. I put a deposit down at my local Honda dealership, Toy’s in Moncton, the day that Honda announced the CT125 was coming to Canada. I will be getting the first one they receive.
I started out riding on a CT70 in 1976, and the new CT125 will be bike number 20 for me. I currently have a ‘77 CT90, as well as a CRF100, DR-Z400S and R1250RS.
I’m really looking forward to the new CT125, with modern 12v electric’s, disc brakes, and a whopping 9.1 hp! 92E055A8-501E-4C61-8B2B-119D7DA2878D.jpeg

G'Day Eh. Ken from Sudbury Ontario here. Have my CT on order. April/May delivery. I have a few accessories already waiting for install. Kenda track master 2 rubber, 1 gallon rotopack (US gallon 3.8 liters not 4.55) . Need to fab up a bracket for rotopack when I get the bike. Front headlight rack/guard from Amazon.ca. USB charger, kickstand pad, mirror extender brackets, 40mm handlebar risers and a set of bark busters also all from Amazon.ca. The 2023 has adjustable preload rear shocks. I'm 260 pounds so I'll just go ahead and set them to max first thing and hope for the best. I've been reading up on front suspension for heavyweight. I might go with BBR motorsports 650-HXR-7005 HD Fork springs. They are for a CRF-70 but apparently they will work in the CT. More research required. 4 feet of snow in the front yard but its starting to melt.

Hello from soon-to-be owner of a Honda Trail in Muskoka, Ontario. Dealer says the bike is expected May 10-16. My Africa Twin kept asking me for a little.brother so what choice did a doting parent have!

Hello guys, I'm from Edmonton. This forum has been great! Thanks to everyone for so much info.
I got the call today, at 4:19, to come pick my CT125 up from the dealership. It was a little short notice and they closed at 5. I'll go tomorrow. I'm tempted to take tomorrow off work, I'm that excited, but I'll just leave a bit early. 😎👍 I'll put up some pics tomorrow. 🍻

Did they initially say it was going to be mid April when you ordered?

I was talking with my dealer Thursday afternoon. He said that the inventory order to Honda Canada was still showing "back-ordered, no VIN# allotted" . Hopefully the shipments are working their way east....

Yeah they told me an accurate delivery date, but I did not believe it at the time because of what was being said in this forum. So it was a good surprise when it arrived.

I don't even want to write this part... But. They also said something about 12 total (!?) coming to this shop and that some dealers in rural areas are not getting any at all. He said that the big cities are getting the most.. (??? I'm not sure how my sales guy knew this info but it's pretty juicy gossip... ???)

My dealer actually pre installed a battery tender, which surprised me when I went to pick it up. Nice surprise since it was my plan to install one anyway.
