Feels weird to have a locked aluminum lid on a plastic box though. I looked through their offerings and didn't find a corresponding metal version of the toolkit. Is there one? There is also a pricey aftermarket aluminum lid that is locking with a key. https://japan.webike.net/products/25026424.html
A few people have done it but I think the most recent was @bryanchurch06, if you need to hit them up a parts list. @JTB also had a pretty sweet jig on theirs.I think I will move the box to the crash bars with the insulated caps like the one on here someone did.
Would work great but that rattling would drive me nutsI like that idea. A smaller carabiner might better limit how far the lid could flop open, if it were to flop open.
Be a short trip for meWould work great but that rattling would drive me nuts
2 rides, nothing I can hear and I wasn’t wearing a helmet.Would work great but that rattling would drive me nuts
I am using a twist from a loaf of bread. It is green however and is not quite right. If only I can find a red one it should look striking.2 rides, nothing I can hear and I wasn’t wearing a helmet.
Yup, I got a smaller one from HF. Also, if you want you can use a small padlock.I like that idea. A smaller carabiner might better limit how far the lid could flop open, if it were to flop open.
That’s what I was thinking lol. Maybe a pipe cleaner hahahaor a bread twist tie
