I hope the whole mess stays together and doesn't come apart like the the Blues Brothers car, after the first bump.

@G19Tony, can you confirm the original skid plate will mount up to the Motoskill engine guards? It looks like you have a different one mounted.

I just went back and read what I wrote on FB. You do, indeed attach the OEM skid plate to the Motoskill crash bars. I hope that helps. They really are good bars.

I put an Apache 4800 on the CT. I added a Rotopax mount. I did this with the topbox on my KTM 390 Duke. Out in the West, it can be a long way between gas stations. I used Bonded Sealing washers on both sides of the mount, to help keep the water out. With the extension for the Rotopax, I can stack containers. Just this configuration would give me 400 miles, if my fat butt gets 100 mpg.
😆
I lined the inside top of the lid with velcro, for sticking various things to.

Very nice, My Pelican case is drilled for my Rotopax mount, On longer camping trips I'll carry the water container there. I love how adaptable these things are, well done!

The configurations are endless. I doubt I'll carry that much extra fuel, but in the desert, the extra water will be helpful. I may get a two gallon water pack.

Ya never know what kind of adventure will come up, being ready is great. Having gear easy to mount for any situation makes a lot of sense to me, looks like you have it covered.

I won't be able to plate my bike until April. Thank you governor Sisolak. So, in the interim, I'm doing all the mods I want to do. So far, I have ordered:

Motoskill: Center rack, headlight and top rack, and crash bars.
Kickstand pad.
G19Tony, how do you like the Kickstand pad? I am using my bike on sporting clays courses with various "iffy" surfaces on which to park. Would be curious to know your opinions before I plunk down my $32 for the revolution pad.

I have kickstand pads on all my bikes. I don't want any tipovers because the kickstand sunk into the hot asphalt. I like this one. It's nice and wide. I will use the centerstand every chance I get.

Thanks, but I should have realized that not everyone has a welder in the corner.

Love seeing all you've done with it. Mine will be very close to stock. If I have to carry a lot of things, I'm taking the Talon! This is it coming home from the dealer. I've got about $3000 in accessories on it now with winch, Rotopax, windshields, guards, mirrors, bags, etc.
