I had termis on the sport classic. the quiet cores never went in. besides, if its tuned for open exhaust and you plug it... not good. might as well shove a banana in there.

That's the beauty of a Power Commander, a few buttons and you're at a different tune ;)

to me.. that defeats any real benefit of an aftermarket exhaust.
In may i saw a BMW (old boxer) on the dyno (was pretty nice custom) with aftermarket exhaust. 1st run was w the quiet core. it put down 44 at rear wheel. they took the quiet cores out, it jumped past 62 at rear wheel with no other mods. Im not kidding, this was at the meltdown in Hendersonville, NC, Halls was running the dyno. The owner threw the baffles in the trash at the show. lol. .
On this bike it is purely aesthetics, sound and some weight savings. On other bikes with a tune and hi-flow filter, there is power to be gained.

Yeah, the Outex baffle is inline (there are also different tip sizes that change the sound) which is unfortunate, if the baffle was just at the tip of the exhaust like on some other aftermarket ones you could very easily take them out and put them back in. That's what I did on my Ducati Scrambler's Termignoni exhaust for long road trips, I'd just pop them back in with 1 hex bolt and have a much quieter ride.
Oh how I loved my Scrambler. I just couldn’t handle her being a hanger queen…never rode her after I started working from home.

some of us are running big bore kits on these, they def help some. but i agree, on a stock ct125, no real mechanical gain at all.

I have always made my bikes louder with exhaust changes. This bike puzzles me, I love the quietness of it. I was riding a class 6 and passed 2 elderly ladies. They were completely unintimidated and actually said: Hi, how are you today? Lots of strange things about these Trail 125s appeal to me. Honda nailed it.

I like to be able to hear the rythm of the motor, it makes riding so much more enjoyable when you can tune in that exhaust note. I don't open an exhaust for performance, I open it for the music

Fyi, anyone considering ordering from startmotor. They are a scam and never ship the product. No historic negative feedback which is a flag but it's coming in now. Just avoid plz and don't make the same mistake I did....
i used them once, got the (still unused) yss shocks for the trail. took them FOREVER to show up and i filed a claim. it was like 5 weeks late but they did arrive. I'll never use them again though.

The Yss shocks were part of my order, which was placed in May. They gave me a tracking number for Thai Post which has never updated since it was created. It's been so long now that the number shows as being closed! Looking back I should have seen the signs.

That “looks” like the same exhaust in the initial thread (hellocst.com)

Agreed and is one of the items I ordered from startmotor.. Sorry to go off topic with the eBay warning and all.

Another member on here, Lazy Dog Productions, has a YT channel worth checking out. He runs this exhaust.

I have talked back and forth with hellocst.com a few times. Responsive. Way cheaper price against US dollar and cheap shipping to the US.

I noticed. There were two left this morning and now only one. Looking forward to your review! I’m not sold on changing the exhaust but if I do, it’s going to be this one.

I like the larger headpipe as well. mine is already bigger, i made it, but would like to compare it. The goal was to keep it stock. yeah.. about that. lol. the stainless though, thats what made me puyll the trigger.

as long as its not stupid loud i'll be happy, it has a pretty big bazooka silencer so should be OK.

I don’t think it should be crazy loud (based on the You Tube vid)but you should see some weight savings. Can’t wait for your thoughts.
