I had termis on the sport classic. the quiet cores never went in. besides, if its tuned for open exhaust and you plug it... not good. might as well shove a banana in there.

On this bike it is purely aesthetics, sound and some weight savings. On other bikes with a tune and hi-flow filter, there is power to be gained.to me.. that defeats any real benefit of an aftermarket exhaust.
In may i saw a BMW (old boxer) on the dyno (was pretty nice custom) with aftermarket exhaust. 1st run was w the quiet core. it put down 44 at rear wheel. they took the quiet cores out, it jumped past 62 at rear wheel with no other mods. Im not kidding, this was at the meltdown in Hendersonville, NC, Halls was running the dyno. The owner threw the baffles in the trash at the show. lol. .
Oh how I loved my Scrambler. I just couldn’t handle her being a hanger queen…never rode her after I started working from home.Yeah, the Outex baffle is inline (there are also different tip sizes that change the sound) which is unfortunate, if the baffle was just at the tip of the exhaust like on some other aftermarket ones you could very easily take them out and put them back in. That's what I did on my Ducati Scrambler's Termignoni exhaust for long road trips, I'd just pop them back in with 1 hex bolt and have a much quieter ride.
Fyi, anyone considering ordering from startmotor. They are a scam and never ship the product. No historic negative feedback which is a flag but it's coming in now. Just avoid plz and don't make the same mistake I did....
i used them once, got the (still unused) yss shocks for the trail. took them FOREVER to show up and i filed a claim. it was like 5 weeks late but they did arrive. I'll never use them again though.Fyi, anyone considering ordering from startmotor. They are a scam and never ship the product. No historic negative feedback which is a flag but it's coming in now. The Yss shocks were part of my order, which was placed in May. They gave me a tracking number for Thai Post which has never updated since it was created. It's been so long now that the number shows as being closed! Looking back I should have seen the signs.i used them once, got the (still unused) yss shocks for the trail. took them FOREVER to show up and i filed a claim. it was like 5 weeks late but they did arrive. That “looks” like the same exhaust in the initial thread (hellocst.com)Fyi, anyone considering ordering from startmotor. They are a scam and never ship the product. No historic negative feedback which is a flag but it's coming in now. Just avoid plz and don't make the same mistake I did....
Agreed and is one of the items I ordered from startmotor.. Sorry to go off topic with the eBay warning and all. That “looks” like the same exhaust in the initial thread (hellocst.com)
I noticed. There were two left this morning and now only one. Looking forward to your review! I’m not sold on changing the exhaust but if I do, it’s going to be this one.i went ahead and ordered one primarily because its stainless, just to try it. lets see how this goes.
