24 Pages of Trail 125s in a 250 mile radius around Cleveland, Ohio. Still many yellows, but most dealers have all the colors. What will the dealers do with all the left overs?

Florida still has a ton of yellows (five pages), but the 2025s are still only at the Powerhouse dealers:

they won't mark them down that's for sure. otherwise they won't be able to push the narrative that they're "rare and impossible to keep in stock!!". they do the same think with the tw200 every year they will price it at or above msrp then take 500 bucks off only to bend you over with fees on a bike that's been available since the 1800s. always buy used if possible. dozens of 125s with low miles for sale under $4k here the past few months

There was a rebate for the prior year models, but that ended yesterday.

the local dealers here just mark the bikes up by whatever the rebate/price cut is with hidden fees. I know I sound cynical but the skullduggery of the dealers here in Nevada and most of California has soured me to the new bike buying process entirely. long live the private party used market.

Known changes for the 2025 Model Year:
  • Glowing Red color, which is updated same as the Glowing Red JA65 in other markets (e.g. Canada) to have a black rear carrier and snorkel plastic
  • Pearl Smoky Gray color
  • Lower exhaust shield is updated (small holes on top, has more visual flow with the upper shield)

Speculative changes based on the latest model year release in Thailand and Japan:
Things I'd be curious to know once these arrive in dealerships:
  • Does the USA finally get the blue 2P accessory power connector inside the headlight bucket?
  • Will the rear carrier have the additional weldnuts on it for accessories, like Japan and Canada have received?

This is still a JA65, or second generation, CT125A. Model year differences will likely be differentiated in technical documentation by model year, VIN character representation of the model year (S for 2025), or engine number, same as in other markets.

An amusing observation: Previously mentioned in the Dax 125 thread, Honda are once again photoshopping the press photos to recolor and make visual updates to the bike. These results are... not something I'd hang on my fridge! lol

Honda are also incorrectly listing a rear tire size of 80/91-17. Likely a copy from last year. A reminder that folks at Honda can make mistakes, too!

Edit: I contacted Honda's PR about this and they were quick to fix the tire size.

Even with the looming possibility of a 25% import tariff added to the cost of goods from Mexico, Honda are continuing to offer the Honda de México-built Navi and XR150L to the USA market for 2025.

A disappointing observation: The Honda Super Cub is likely not returning to the USA for the 2025MY since it was excluded from this press release.
I have a new 2025 CT 125 Trail in red. I liked it better in person than the other option mentioned here. The red is more visible even thou I'm not intending on riding this on the street, just more visible in general.

Curious what 2026 will bring for color options. Not sure if they will release it this calander year or wait till 2026. Seems like they didn't release this years schemes until January.
Wondering if they are doing anything else upgrade wise.

Thailand gets the updates before North America, historically, so you could monitor the Honda Cub House Thailand Facebook page for that information. I haven't come across any news yet.
