Thank God someone here besides me understands the VERY simple concept of supply and demand. “Greed” has nothing to do with it. It’s called being a smart businessman.

One man's privateer is another mans pirate. Depends on which end of the stick you are on. The good business man doesn't take advantage of a situation. We had the same situation in the gun community. I had been doing most of my business with one fella. He pulled this same BS on ammo doubling even tripling his prices on some ammo. Others nearby did mark the stock up but not nearly to these levels. The bottleneck passed and supplies became more available. I had spent a lot of money with the first fella over the years. The other fellas get my money now, at least they kissed me and provided a little lubThank God someone here besides me understands the VERY simple concept of supply and demand. “Greed” has nothing to do with it. The dealership in Coos Bay, Oregon received confirmation that they have three being shipped in late April. Two are still up for grabs if you want to make a deposit.
There are also two (out of ten!) available at the Salem, Oregon dealer. They received confirmation that ten will ship to them as well, and pre sold eight already.
Both dealers are asking $5000, so a stiff markup but not the worst I’ve heard.
I basically called every Honda dealer from Spokane south to Klamath Falls, and almost every one to the west as well. Out of over a dozen, those two were the only ones with confirmed shipping dates. Turmeric here I come…….

edited to change September to April

Hey Otony, I got one of the available two in Coos Bay. I can't wait. I was talking to the sales manager the other day and he said they may be in at the end of the month!
I can't wait! I have an old CT110 that I love, and now the new 125 and in yellow even! Takes me back to my childhood! LOLOh, that would be a month earlier than we originally expected! Cool!
When I run the 13 tooth sprocket on my 23 I do get the fault, but not all the time. If I’m riding around at variable speeds I never see it, but if I run a constant 40 mph for say 10-15 miles it comes on. The question is it just some quirk in the sensors or is it actually disabling ABS. So for me using the healer is more than justified: No ABS fault, accurate speed, accurate odometer. Now if they could just let me store a few sets of parameters that I could quickly switch between every time I decide to change my front sprocket…As an addition, having a ‘23 (and working with 12oclocklabs to use their corrector), (before corrector installation) installing a 13-tooth front sprocket (with stock tires) did not cause ABS to fault. But the speedo was off by +10%. I was after an accurate speedo and with the addition of the corrector, I have that. It is my belief that the pre-2023 units (ja55 vintage) were a bit more sensitive to changes effecting the ABS.
I spoke to the sales rep on Tuesday, and was told the they are getting two shipments of three bikes each, the first right around now, and the second ar the 20th of April. I’m scheduled for pickup next month, so I’m figuring on being there on the 26th or thereaboutsI can't wait! I have an old CT110 that I love, and now the new 125 and in yellow even! The one I saw was two bikes in one crate and the dealership had received 4 bikes. Maybe they use one or two in a crate. Any order to a location could then be filled even or oddI had thought the crates contained 2... I guess not
I was sure hoping it would be sooner! I might pop in to the dealership today and see if Derek is there.
