Yeah they told me an accurate delivery date, but I did not believe it at the time because of what was being said in this forum. So it was a good surprise when it arrived.

I don't even want to write this part... But. They also said something about 12 total (!?) coming to this shop and that some dealers in rural areas are not getting any at all. He said that the big cities are getting the most.. (??? I'm not sure how my sales guy knew this info but it's pretty juicy gossip... ???)

My dealer actually pre installed a battery tender, which surprised me when I went to pick it up. Nice surprise since it was my plan to install one anyway.
Funny how you hear different things from different sources. I was told two machines per dealership, that’s it😬

In 2021 the dealer I purchased from told me sell one order one. I never seen or heard of more than one in the building at a time

It does appear to have two spots with threaded bolts welded to the left side. Nice surprise! Not sure if you can see them here.

The Canadian rear rack is black and has like 6 points you can screw into. Looks like 2 different size threads. Does anyone know the size specs. for these?

Thanks.. we are hoping the USA racks have the same mounting points, but we are starting to worry as the part numbers don't seem to say that they do.
The four small threaded holes on the top of the rack are M6 and the two larger at the front top are M8. The thread pitches are the same as the rest of the socket screws on the bike.

Nice! Should be M6 for the rear 4 holes in the JA65 rack same as the JA55, M8 for the new front 2 holes nearest to the grab bar on the JA65. Based on parts diagrams for the Honda Japan accessories that mount there.

We're envious of you here in the USA. One question that isn't answered by a right side photo of your Trail 125. "Does the black rear rack have two drilled and tapped mounting bungs on the underside of the left bar on the rack, where the factory OEM accessories such as the side bag and side box are supposed to mount?"
It's funny you asked me this because I just noticed them last night when I was running my fingers along it, feeling around 😅. It was a cool surprise! Glad others were quick to help before I got around to answering.

Hey guys, from Alberta. I ride mostly single track in McLean creek or Waiporous on my KLX300R. I’ve been wanting a smaller bike for commuting around, something to bring camping and road tripping when I want to ride on the road or lighter trails.

I’ve put down a deposit at the dealer and should be on the list for the next shipment of 6.

I was told they usually get updated on stock from Honda around a month out.

hoping to get it May/June.

Welcome.
If you are in a hurry you might get lucky by trying some surrounding towns; maybe Lethbridge or Medicine Hat.
I missed the announcement that they were coming here this year and so missed the first shipments up here in Edmonton. I phoned all local dealerships and a bunch north of here and finally managed to find one closer to you in Rocky Mountain House. I tried Turple Bros in Red Deer but was too late there as well.
I did have my name on one in St Paul but called them back later and told them I found one. Its a bit out of your way but it may still be available. They have one coming but did not have a delivery date last I spoke to them.
Good luck and enjoy! I've definitely enjoyed my first 160km and counting.

They seem to be in the country, but deliveries east of Manitoba have been silent of late. Hopefully we can all enjoy soon. Good luck boys!
