Tony, I just installed my bracket like your third pic, and was just about to order the Rotopax bracket and one gallon can. After looking at the dimensions of the one gallon can, it's clear that a bracket needs to be offsets the can can clear the bottom of the rack. Where did you get the plate that you bolted to the bracket? I was thinking about using similar spacers, like the ones that came with the bracket, to mount a Rotopax mount directly to the bracket. That way the can would clear the bottom of the rack. I also don't want it too high as to interfere with any luggage on that side. Just talking out loud. Interested in any other options if anyone has any good ideas. Thank you.
The plate is a Rotopax Single Mounting Plate.

Installed the Barkbuster handguards tonight. It was surprisingly painless, not like it usually goes for me. On both grips, I rolled the grip back enough to get two screwdrivers on the tabs. I had the OEM bar end weights off in about 5 minutes. The handguard install went smoothly. I purchased the additional weights that go on the outside of the bar, in case what was included isn't enough, but I'll ride for a bit and see how I like it. The whole evolution took about an hour. I suppose I could have gone faster, but I'm pretty pokey when I'm tinkering in the garage. It's my favorite thing to do.

I removed some of the pouches on the headlight rack and consolidated. I put all my tire repair stuff into a 5.11 ammo bag I had, and found a KTM pannier liner from my 390, and strapped it to the rack. I like it better.

I put another RAM mount on the upper bar of the front rack, and found an old RAM X mount for an early Iphone. It worked great for the spare Garmin Zumo. The cable won't give me traffic, but I don't think I'll need it. I just need power.
