New bike, almost no oil

Hello! I get some oil on the tip on the dipstick only if I have the dipstick with white dot on it towards the front of the bike. All other attempts /directions dipstick is dry. I checked with zip tie - at least there was some oil in it.
Does anyone know more about the white dot on dipstick?
Also have a brand new bike. Was told the bike wouldn’t burn oil if it did it would be minimal. Proceeded to break in. figuring that the oil was probably special for break in period; I never checked it till 500 miles, which is when I called to schedule my 600 mile service. I get the same amount on my stick only if screw the stick in completely. I let the bike run for a few minutes, put it on center stand, waited a minute or two and then check oil with threading and nothing! Visually there is oil and it circulates

My 2023 wouldn’t shift very Well. Hard to get into gears. I checked the oil and it seemed to be at level. I agree I had to use pliers to get the dipstick cracked loose. I sure like the oil plug better on my 2023 C125. Anyway, today I decided to adjust the clutch. That fixed my clunky shifting. It was certainly not adjusted correctly.

So I wrote a letter to American Honda Customer Relations about having the bike delivered with low oil. They called me a few minutes ago, and their response was that because it was a "setup" issue, that they could not do anything for me and that the dealer would have to extend any sort of warranty coverage or offers of free service, not them.

Disappointing, but understandable, it's not their job to fix something they don't check / setup. But all I was asking for was to get my free oil change offered by my selling dealer moved to a closer dealership. Perhaps I'll reach back out to my selling dealer and see if they will refund me the setup fee to cover the first service...

Anyone have any idea what the first service costs at a dealer typically? I know a lot of you do it yourselves, and while I'm not averse to that I want professional eyes on it.

What it would cost you, or or what it costs the dealer? Because it's mostly labor with a little oil, so they're mostly paying time. There's a markup between you and the mechanic, so what it costs you to have that work done would be higher than what they charge.

Whatever it is, it shouldn't be much. The 600 mi service per the owner's manual is a once over of all the bolts, inspecting any user complaints, replacing the oil and inspecting (adjusting) the automatic clutch. Maybe 30 minutes of work, $10 of materials?
