I am financing mine, just to build some history, and my creditor came back with an evaluation at $4155.00. California is obviously going to be more expensive, but that seems a little ridiculous. Inflation, just like everything else I suppose. This is from Kansas. Edit: forgot I already put $900 down. so all in all value at $5012.91
I’d love to get way closer to $5,000. I have a deposit at 1 other dealer but they won’t give me a quote until the bike arrives. Hope their price isn’t as high.

There are 200+ on here now. For reference, when I got mine in November, there were 23 nationwide. Check your area, make some calls.

Good hunting.

I picked up my '22 for $5400 for everything all-in a week ago in NC. Tax, title, tag and all the dealer fees. I had to wait a bit until one came in, but told them to call me when they did.

STUBBORN paid a lot.
$3899 List price + $100 (2022 price increase)
(even though I placed the $100 deposit 2 years ago.)
Dealer prep $299 (not even 1 gallon of gas)
shipping $300
addendum $169 = free battery charge +
Extra insurance over and above the Geico $70 a year insurance
NH title, license + registration fees $27
document + administrative fees $199
Safety Inspection Sticker?

Total $ 4893

Wait !
There's more!
Derry Tax Collector = Vehicle Tax + Motorcycle Reg Plate & 2023 Decal $92
Geico Motorcycle insurance ($500 deductible) 1 year $70

9 foot steel Motorcycle ramp $239
1652557613217.png

12 one inch cargo straps $30

total $5324

Cheaper than the $6000 that many people are reporting on
HONDATRAIL125 forum.

First Impression
I sat on the bike and Chris (Nault's salesman) went thru the basic introduction:

ABS light orange, N green light, digital speedometer, dash light on the small round
digital instrument panel, Electric start button, heel & toe shift,
Emergency off button, Fuel injection, no clutch, big seat with
tiny helmet lock, Manual kick start, electric lock and anti theft,
kick stand down = no start, 3 point stand and how to work it,
tiny round toolbox, the tool to open the tool box hidden under the
locking seat, lights work, gas filler under the seat, left, right turn,
front + rear, horn, etc. Two keys. User Manual.

My feet (Toes) just touched the ground with me
sitting on the bike. (Grumble, I am short...)
Bike is wicked high. So it has both an off-road
suspension as well as being street capable speed 40+.
Mileage 1 gallon gas = 100 miles (hmmpf.)
(+ Slowly, rolling downhill, with a trailing back wind.)

The red cargo rack is quite heavy duty and large hence
the reason for this red "postal bike's" high demand.
This is the perfect bike for reconnaissance and for
picking up supplies while staying at camp sights.
I wish this bike was available in green or blue or brown or CARC tan Camo
as in other countries. SIGH. You can have any color you
like as long as it is RED.

Hi,
Naults is starting to get deliveries weekly. More Trail 125s coming.
The show room had mostly Suzuki off road bikes and a few Hondas 2 years ago.
They have other mini motos as well: monkeys groms ADV, etc.
They have a competion bike with no seat!

Hi,

I watched YOUTUBE on loading ramps.
One ramp won't allow me to walk beside the bike.
I am a scared to attempt to ride it up.
So I bought a second ramp to allow me to slowly
drive the bike up the other ramp.

Another method is to use a step stool to walk the bike up the ramp. That's what I do with a sturdy but inexpensive collapsible step stool. Just have to take your time. Easier the lighter the bike is, and be sure to detach all cargo first!

The only way loading ramps have worked for me is to find a large dip in the ground and back up to it so the ramp is almost horizontal. I got sick of rolling the bikes off the tailgat backwards only to fall on my ass with the bikes on top of me. I bought a 5X8 Tractor supply trailer and it's very easy to trans port my bikes now.

Electric lock and anti theft? I don't remember that being part of the tour. The only anti-theft feature I'm aware of is the ignition lock.

The world is a cruel place when you can't get stuff off high shelves. I'm easily flat footing on both sides without much effort and I'm 6'0", so you must be both short and light if you're having difficulty touching the ground. The seat height is 31.5" which is on the low side, with soft suspension that should settle a little once you take a seat. The bright side of this is that the 9 horses and 8 torques will perform very well for you.

I don't think @dmonkey's approach works well for the vertically challenged with the stepstool. The two ramps was a good idea. What also probably would have worked would have been to buy one ramp and a 2x6.

Right below $5300 about a week ago in southern IL, I was on a list since Jan and didn't want to wait another year due to supply issues, I'm glad I went for it, cool bike.

Where in southern Illinois? I got mine in Teutopolis, a few miles east of Effingham just over a year ago. I live in O'Fallon, Il and have put about 2,500 miles on the bike and have not seen another Trail on the road yet.

I have a 1997 Ford Econoline van - long wheelbase. If I carefully back up to a sidewalk or a raised spot as in a parking lot island, I should not have as large a vertical climb as to the tail gate on a pickup truck. I thought about the 2 x 12 and one ramp but the ramps fold up and I can strap them to the wall slats in the truck. A 10 foot plank is a lot cheaper but a lot harder to use and store.

@Fun4me Litchfield, looks like that would be closer for you. I'm in Northern IL so it was a nice drive for me.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your new ride. Litchfield is right at 50 miles north of me. Very familiar with Niehaus Cycles as I've bought a couple of bikes and lots of accessories from them over the last 20 years.

I got a quote on a New Honda Trail 125 - $3,899 PLUS $1,298 for freight and set up. That seemed high to me... Thoughts?
4695 total here in Manchester nh. Just last week. Worth every bit for the fun I am having. 400 miles in the first week.

Just throwing mine out there. I paid 4980 out the door with a full tank of gas, Virginia tag, title and tax included. I think I had a deposit on mine for about 3 months.

That's weird, I had an invoice the day I put my deposit down back in January. I would ask for the invoice, since you technically have now paid for a portion of the bike in your deposit. Maybe it's a little different where you are, but just my opinion to ask for that. Hopefully they work with you on that.
