Don't forget the highly skilled and worthwhile dealer prep and setupMSRP is $3,999 but then American Honda adds a Destination Charge of $200 and a Freight Surcharge of $100, so what you ended up paying is $1 shy of the total listed price.
There's also taxes and registration that vary by location, with some paying that at the dealer rather than their DMV.

oh gosh I wish. NC. is pretty up on taxing it's citizens, but a great deal better than some other states. And I'm going to answer no on the 5K thing, not actually knowing the answer, actual truth.are you in a state where sales tax isn't required on new vehicles under 5k?

Curious, there aparently don't seem to be much call here except by die-hard CT folks, thus were not getting raked over the coals with dealer added gouging costs. They also had a red 22 for a K less than the 23 model
Dealer prep. I had no oil showing on my dipstick, and tire pressure was 8 psi low in back, 5 psi low in front. Also no warranty booklet or Honda owner card, as mentioned in the owner manual. Other than that, top notch "dealer prep."Don't forget the highly skilled and worthwhile dealer prep and setup
