    Soot at oil fill plug

    I have noticed the same SOOT on my filler and dipstick plug , it is only towards the front of the bike. I believe it is from the exhaust pipe. Black soot coming off the hot pipe. my theory anyway.

    Chain adjustment

    I did that too. Looks like the marks are off on the swing arm. Trying to wrap my brain around that. Measured 17 1/4 inches from center of bolt on swing arm to center of axle bolt.

    Got around to changing the oil today. Installed a gold plug. No shavings in the old oil but I only have 217 miles on it. Also decided to adjust the chain as it was loose. I am a big guy and heavy. I adjusted chains before on my other bikes and always used my Motion Pro chain alignment tool. I...

    Picked up my bike last Friday

    I received the second key after I contacted the dealer. Salesman had it in his pocket. You can download the owners manual here on the forum. The one that comes with the bike is way to small for me to read anyway so I downloaded it and printed on normal size paper.

    Discountramps.com. I had no issue with it. They are however made in China.I used extra straps on each end going into my truck bed. I feel it help the ramp from swaying.

    I have been riding quite a bit. Getting used to slow speed maneuver's. I will say it is quite different than my Yamaha Vstar was. What a fun bike. For some reason I feel safer and more relaxed on this little bike.

    Keys

    Called the dealer in Tallahassee on Tuesday and he had the extra key. Send it overnight and I received it Wednesday. The second key had the rubber sleeve on it and the code tag. Happy camper now. All is good. Thanks everyone for your replies.

    "low speed crawl" challenge sounds like fun. All I have to do is find some else in Jacksonville that has a Honda Trail. Anyone?

    I would expand on this question by saying, how do you drive really slow with this bike? I am giving myself whiplash trying to manage the throttle.
