but the roto pax is more cost effective.

Thoughts?
Said no one ever!!! $100 for a plastic jug and a mount???

Anyway, we can agree to disagree, I have used Gatorade bottles for years and to me that is cost effective….
I did buy a non running ct90 just for the tank for $400 once, changed the clutch plates and she fired right up, they were too thin to engage the starter. Kept the tank for the 75 then sold the 74 to help pay for the 2021!

Your post is encouraging. I’m about to list a running (badly) CT110. I’m hoping for $600. It has that tank in near new condition plus a very rare genuine Honda front rack plus hi/low gearbox. Hope it sells. I need the garage space.C830EA97-8AA3-4DC1-8BA3-7E7FC4FED9E6.jpeg

*waves from Seattle as well*

I'd like to point out that there are a few non-running CT110's on Craigslist listed for upwards of $3000. So IMO you should lift the price a little.

There was a time years ago when everyone was waging war on plastic water drinking bottles and companies were handing out metal water bottles like candy as promotions , etc.
They have a wide mouth.
I got a pile of them , from 16 to 20 oz and I've used them for the few times I wanted to have extra fuel for the scooters.
I would guess you can buy these fairly cheap , at least cheaper than a fuel container.

If you don’t mind me asking, what was the total cost of everything, including the part they don’t tell you about? I’m thinking I’ll go this route...
The Webike listing does tell you that the other part is required on the current product page.
The parts are https://japan.webike.net/products/24611811.html and https://japan.webike.net/products/24294489.html
I paid just under $300 including DHL shipping for the same setup minus the nice friction straps that @Msfitoy swapped out to replace the black velcro ones.

I didn't get the helmet holder...I used a generic black plate I found at a Farmer Store...pretty thick/stiff and holding up well...

Roughly what dimensions are the plate? I know that it needs to be at least 50mm on one side because that's how far the mount bolts are from each other, but I don't know how far out from the sub tank kit you would need.

I have the 3 liter can on the side, can't tell it's there.View attachment 1025
So I have the 5 L and I have the same setup as you at this point I think it came in the mail it took it about 5 days to get from Thailand which was deeply impressive and came with original Honda parts for the luggage rack that the fuel can is fixed to. I'm looking forward to being able to use this thing when I go on an adventure next month

I have 2 1 liter versions of these. I can assure you they can take a drop on the highway at 50 mph and survive.. as i did that las year on the grom. bounced right out of the old mount, hit the pavement, spun around and into the woods and survived just fine.

I now mount it with 2 hose clamps and a quick release fire extinguisher mount.

I'll have to take a look...I recall that the holes fit nearly perfect...maybe a mil off and was easy to fix...the plate is not asymmetrical so it drops vertically straight, requiring me to flip the bottle so the neck is to the rear in order to clear the rack hook...no big deal...if you look at my pics you'll see what I mean...

Thanks for the advice. I sold it on Craigslist for $1500 in three days. My phone never stopped ringing with local buyers.
That's great! Just remember your buddies on the honda trail forum when you think about how you're gonna spend that extra $1000 on mods for your CT125... 😂
